Jeweled Peacock Productions and No Mija Productions Present: A Carnaval Masquerade March 11, 2016...

 

The theme for this year’s March show will be A Carnaval Masquerade. We are accepting video submissions for acts related to:

Rio/Latin Carnaval

Mardi Gras

European Style Masquerade Party/Fancy Dress Party

We will be looking for costumes that have elements such as feathers, beads, porcelain masks, masquerade ball masks on a stick, feathered masks, Venetian masks, etc.

Tossing Mardi Gras style beads into the audience is encouraged, and we will be asking each performer to toss a special string of beads into the audience that will entitle the person who catches them to receive a free ticket to any of our upcoming shows.

** Acts that include audience participation, or include elements that engage the audience, are highly encouraged.

Act Requirements: All performers will be expected to strip down to pasties. Any exception to this should be noted when you submit your audition video, and discussed with the producers. Please provide photos in the costume for this show, where ever possible. If your costume is not complete by the photo submission date, please provide another photo, and then send an updated photo upon completion of your costume. This will allow our advertising materials to be more thematic.

We need each performer to actively advertise the show through their normal channels, particularly social media.

 

Venue Restrictions: No loose glitter, No fire, No liquids
